Private Events

We offer two all-inclusive menu options for our private events. These menus include (per person) a non-alcoholic beverage, choice of soup or salad, entrée with one of our daily vegetables and a dessert.

Alcoholic Beverage Options

As the host, we will work with you to decide what alcoholic beverage options, if any, you would like to be served at your event. From pre-selecting bottles of wine from our extensive wine list to setting a limited number of beverages per person, we will work with you to create the plan that’s most conducive for you and your event.

Room Fees

At Merrick Inn, we do not charge you anything for hosting your event in one of our private rooms. We truly appreciate your business and offer our rooms at no cost if you meet the minimum required for the specific room you booked. In the event that you do fall below the minimum number required, a charge in the amount of your menu price will be added for each person you fall below the minimum.

The Main Dining Room

The Main Dining RoomOur largest private dining area, The Main Dining Room, is located on the first floor just off of the lobby. Ideal for larger events, the Main Dining Room can seat up to 62, or combined with the adjoining New Room, up to 98. Featuring a fireplace, corner cabinets original to the house and a true Southern feel, The Main Dining Room is the perfect place to host your larger events.

The New RoomThe New Room is located at the rear of The Main Dining Room on the first floor. Behind its French doors you’ll find plenty of space to entertain up to 36. With its soft lighting, floor to ceiling wine cabinet and large windows, The New Room is an elegant space to host your next event.

The Library

The LibraryThe Library is located on the first floor just off of the lobby. Formerly the library of the house, you are captured the moment you walk in by the soft glow of the fireplace, built-ins and plantation shutters. With seating for up to 24, The Library is perfect for meetings, rehearsal dinners or any occasion!

The Gold Room

The Gold RoomThe second upstairs dining room is The Gold Room. Located in another former bedroom of the manor house, The Gold Room can accommodate up to 16 comfortably. The Gold Room also
features a wall mounted flat screen television with computer hookup, making it perfect for meetings.

The Red Room

The Red Room

The Red RoomIdeal for smaller gatherings, The Red Room is upstairs in one of the
former bedrooms of the manor house and is accented by red walls
(hence the name), rich wood blinds and soft lighting. The Red Room
can accommodate up to 14 and features a wall mounted flat screen
television with computer hookup, making it perfect for meetings.
